Busy Busy Busy

Wow, after 2 weeks of doing almost nothing, going back to work is just 3 words, BUSY, BUSY, BUSY. Got quite a lot of work to catch up and worst of all, on the 1st day that I start to park at the HDB car park again, my newly replaced backside (I referring to my car’s backside not mine) got a big kiss. A huge kiss in fact, got a dent (not sure if you still call it a dent) bigger than my face, and I think my face has become quite big (trying to avoid the F word, 3 letters, just in case you are think of something else) recently.

So while busy clearing my work, I still have to go and ask around for repair prices. But I do have to mention that the person who bang me is a complete gentleman and immediately offered to pay for the repair fees. He has been very nice and even wants me to make sure that the workshop I am going will be able to do a good job. As it needed 2 days for the repair, so I have to plan a time where I can afford not to drive.

Talking about cars, with the rising COE, and the fact that I am quite fed up with my car now, I have been looking around to try and see if there is a good deal. As I took 10 years loan previously, and my outstanding loan is more than my car value, I will have to look for parallel import car so that I can do overtrade for my car to cover the difference. Not the wisest thing to do but that seems to be my only option right now. OK, not the only option but one of the 2 options I have currently, the other been to stick to my current ride. Everyone expect the COE to rise further so it doesn’t favor me to wait longer but as it is going to be another huge financial commitment, I better take my time to think it over.
